The Engineering Systems Division at DTU Management Engineering focuses on understanding and improving the ways in which engineering systems and their sub-systems are designed and managed throughout their life cycles. Engineering systems include energy generation and distribution, healthcare provision, transportation systems, production networks and any other societal or industrial systems that is purposely designed and evolved. Research in the group spans the boundaries of engineering, management and the related policy and strategy processes. We develop methods and tools for companies and public institutions to be more effective in their design, operation, change and strategic guidance of engineering systems.DTU
