Behavioural change toward energy efficiency through ICT

Challenge Owner: European Commission, Horizon 2020

"The objective is to demonstrate that ICT-based solutions can contribute to saving energy by motivating and supporting behavioural change of energy end-users. The main challenges are (i) establishing cost-effectiveness, i.e. demonstrating that solutions allow a good return on investment through energy savings (ii) making energy usage data accessible to the consumer and to designated third parties (for application development or designing new business models around them) and (iii) demonstrating that energy savings can be achieved without compromising comfort levels."

The challenge is: to identify suitable consortia to develop next generation ICT solutions that can contribute to energy saving supporting behavioural change. You will be able to use our tool to explore collaboration opportunities. More details will be provided during the workshop.
