Accelerating Energy Efficiency through Public Private Partnership

Accelerate Energy Efficiency through Public Private Partnership

The Global Energy Efficiency Accelerator Platform is a public-private partnership initiative with the aim of doubling the rate of improvement in energy efficiency worldwide by 2030. Under the auspices of the Copenhagen Centre on Energy Efficiency, the Accelerator Platform acts as the flagship implementing mechanism of Sustainable Energy for All global initiative. Connecting stakeholders to each other and to solutions in areas of common interest is central to the work of the Accelerator Platform.

Current challenge is to 1) enable the Accelerator Platform to better identify linkages and opportunities within the accelerators’ vast network of committed jurisdictions, companies and partner organisation. 2) broker more efficient and effective partnerships and conversations across the public and private sectors and civil society that can support the creation of the enabling environments and business models to quickly scale and replicate.
